Folk Tincture Making Workshop - Sunday 10/18

$65.00

Sunday, October 18th | 5–6 PM
Mr. Tombstone’s Coffee Emporium — Kennesaw
1133 Chastain Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144

Tinctures are one of the simplest, most versatile ways to work with herbs, and they’re easier to make than you might think.

Join Planted Wellness Co. for a cozy, hands-on evening at Mr. Tombstone’s Coffee Emporium, where we’ll explore the folk method of tincture making: a time-honored, approachable way to turn herbs into preparations for your home apothecary.

As the garden begins its shift toward fall, our attention is turning underground. This is root season, a time when herbalists traditionally harvest the roots of many medicinal plants and begin preparing the remedies that will stock the home apothecary through winter.

Together, we’ll explore why harvest timing matters, get to know some of the roots traditionally used in herbal preparations, and learn how tincturing allows us to preserve the plants we harvest now for the colder months ahead.

This class is perfect for beginners, plant lovers, and budding home herbalists alike. You’ll learn:

• Why fall is an important season for harvesting the roots of many medicinal plants
• Why tinctures are such a useful addition to a home herbal toolkit
• The simple folk method you can use to make tinctures at home
• How to choose herbs and roots based on their traditional uses
• How to create your own custom herbal tincture to take home

All materials are included, just bring yourself and your curiosity. You’ll leave with your own handcrafted tincture, practical herbal knowledge, and a better understanding of how the rhythms of the garden can help shape a seasonal home apothecary. 💚

✨ Please note: due to the advance purchase of materials for this event, we are unable to offer refunds if you need to cancel for any reason.
