Dried Dandelion Root

$12.00

Discover the earthy richness of our Dried Dandelion Root. Often overlooked as a simple garden weed, dandelion is actually one of herbalism’s most treasured plants. The roasted, slightly bitter root has long been used to support digestion and liver function, and makes a grounding addition to herbal teas and wellness blends. 🌼🌿

Uses: Digestive support, liver support, herbal teas, coffee alternatives

Herbal compliments include burdock root and ginger.

Instructions for Use:

For Teas:
Use 1–2 tablespoons of dried root per cup of boiling water. Because roots are tougher than leaves or flowers, we recommend simmering gently for 10–15 minutes to fully extract the beneficial compounds. Strain and enjoy as-is or add honey, cinnamon, or milk for a cozy herbal brew.

If you’re new to herbal teas we always recommend adding the medicinal herb to a loose leaf tea you already love! We often use green tea, black tea or white tea leaves for our base of herbal teas and build our blends from there.

For Tinctures or Herbal Preparations:
Use the dried root to create tinctures, decoctions, or herbal blends as desired.
