Thymus vulgaris - A low-growing woody perennial, Thyme, is a beloved herb for cooking and a necessity for your kitchen herb garden. Thyme also makes an excellent fragrant ground cover that pollinators love when blooming. 

Plant 12 to 24 inches apart.

Tip:  Thyme makes an excellent fragrant ground cover that pollinators love when blooming. You can use the fresh leaves for cooking to flavor soups, meats, add to oils, flavor fresh vegetables, etc. Or you can hang the herbs upside down to dry and use the dried thyme for seasoning.
