Savory, Lemon

Satureja biflora - A fragrant and citrusy twist on traditional savory, Lemon Savory is a perennial herb with small, glossy green leaves that release a bright lemon aroma when crushed. Its zesty, peppery flavor makes it a delicious addition to seafood, poultry, and herbal teas. In late summer, it produces tiny lavender or white flowers that attract pollinators. Drought-tolerant and easy to grow, it thrives in well-drained soil and warm conditions.

Space plants about 12-18 inches apart.

Tip: Besides adding to herb gardens, Lemon Savory works beautifully as a border plant or in container gardens where its refreshing scent can be enjoyed up close.
