Saint John’s Chamomile
Anthemis sancti-johannis - With its vibrant golden-orange daisy-like blooms and soft, feathery foliage, Saint John’s Chamomile is a stunning perennial that brings a cheerful touch to any garden. Blooming from late spring through summer, its long-lasting flowers attract pollinators while its drought-tolerant nature makes it a hardy, low-maintenance choice for sunny borders and rock gardens. Though not commonly used for tea like German or Roman Chamomile, its bright blooms make excellent cut flowers and dried arrangements.
Space plants about 12-18 inches apart.
Tip: Besides adding to flower beds, Saint John’s Chamomile thrives in poor, dry soils, making it a great option for xeriscaping and pollinator-friendly gardens.
