Salvia apiana - Also known as ‘Bee Sage’, White Sage is an evergreen perennial shrub that often attracts bees and other pollinators. Native to the desert, it thrives in hot and dry conditions. White Sage is an important ceremonial herb used by Native Americans in healing, cleansing, and purification rituals.

Plant 12-18” apart.

Tip: Most people use White Sage for “cleansing sticks” to burn. Wrap the leaves in a bundle and hang to dry. You can also use it for culinary purposes but it’s not as common as Garden Sage. It has immune boosting properties so you can use it in stews, breads, meats, and more.
