Red Raspberry
Rubus idaeus - Raspberries are a favorite berry of just about everyone, but did you know that the leaves are incredibly medicinal as well? We carry the Heritage variety of raspberry that blooms twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. It’s less of a “bush” and more like a cluster of shoots that grow tall. We like to use tomato cages to help hold ours up as they tend to fall over with weight. Not only are the berries full of antioxidants but the leaves contain vitamins and minerals that help with digestion support, may support late stage pregnancy, morning sickness, and menstrual cramping.
Tip: No need to save seeds or propagate as the roots will send new plants out that you can dig up to relocate or let them spread!
