Parsley, Menuette
Petroselinum crispum ‘Menuette’ – A compact, curly biennial herb, Menuette Parsley is a must-have for tidy kitchen gardens and patio containers. Its finely frilled, vibrant green leaves grow in dense mounds reaching about 8–12 inches tall, making it both ornamental and practical. Mild, fresh, and slightly peppery in flavor, this parsley is rich in vitamins A, C, and K and adds a bright nutritional boost to everyday meals. Like other parsley varieties, it also serves as a favorite host plant for black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars.
Space 8–12 inches apart.
Tip: Menuette’s uniform, compact growth makes it perfect for borders and small spaces. Use it fresh as a garnish, mix into salads, or stir into soups, eggs, and roasted vegetables for a clean, garden-fresh flavor.
