Oregano, Italian
Oreganum - A flavorful perennial herb with a milder, sweeter taste than Greek oregano and less sharpness than common oregano. Italian oregano is a kitchen staple for pasta sauces, soups, and roasted vegetables, and its pinkish-white summer blooms draw pollinators to the garden.
Space: 10–12 inches apart.
Tip: Italian oregano shines in container herb gardens on sunny patios or as a front-border plant in garden beds. Its low, bushy growth fills spaces beautifully while providing a fresh, aromatic harvest all season long.
