Leonurus cardiaca - Commonly regarded as a weed, we’ve come to know and love Motherwort. You’ll often find this spiky perennial grown in wet areas such as along riverbanks or in flood plains. It’s a relative to the mint family so it can be a vigorous grower but it comes packed with medicinal properties.

Space plants 2-3 feet apart.

Tip: We love to dry the leaves to use in teas. Motherwort contains numerous antioxidant properties so it’s wonderful for heart health and also helps with stress/anxiety.
