Mint, Thai
Mentha spicata var. crispa (Thai Mint) – Growing Thai Mint is much like growing spearmint, but with a bolder, slightly spiced flavor that makes it a staple in Southeast Asian cuisine. Its bright green, textured leaves deliver a sweet yet robust mint taste that stands up beautifully in fresh dishes like pho, spring rolls, and noodle salads. Like all members of the mint family, Thai Mint spreads vigorously through underground runners, so we recommend planting it in its own container. Rich in antioxidants and traditionally used to support digestion, this refreshing herb is as functional as it is flavorful.
Tip: Mint loves to take over, so give Thai Mint its own pot where it can thrive freely. We love placing containers near patios or garden entrances for a burst of fragrance — plus, it’s deer resistant and pollinator friendly.
