Hyssopus officinalis - A small woody shrub with narrow leaves, Hyssop Officinalis, is a member of the mint family and is very aromatic. Hyssop's antiviral properties are most commonly used for respiratory issues such as coughs, bronchitis, and the common cold. You can use the flowering tops internally as a tea, tincture, or in cough syrup and externally as a poultice or compress.

Space this plant about 12-16” apart.

Tip: Hyssop does great in containers, planted along an edge to help with erosion management, or planted in groups in a cottage garden.
