German Chamomile

Matricaria chamomilla - An herbal annual favorite, German Chamomile is best known for its soothing teas, skin care products and beautiful tiny white blooms. It grows best in full sun but here in Georgia, it has a short growing season since it doesn’t tolerate our hot heat well.

Plant 8-12 inches apart

Tip: Some say German Chamomile has the taste of an apple. It’s a subtle sweet flavor making it perfect for a soothing evening tea to aid in sleep support. Steep the flowers in hot water for 4-5 minutes, mix with honey, and sip before bedtime.
