Evening Primrose
Oenothera biennis - Some may see Evening Primrose as a temperamental weed, but we admire it for its beautiful and delicate appearance. It grows quickly and starts to bloom in its second year of life with four petal flowers. Perhaps the coolest thing about Evening Primrose is that it blooms late afternoon and into the evening attracting a different set of nighttime pollinators such as moths and bats!
Tip: Growing Evening Primrose helps add a variety of pollinators to your garden by attracting those nighttime pollinators with its evening blooms.
