Dandelion, Italian Chicory

Cichorium Intybus - Italian Dandelion is not a true Dandelion plant. It’s a loose-leaf chicory that is commonly used in salads. It has larger, more upright leaves than traditional dandelions. It makes a great “cut and come again” plant so you can harvest the leaves as often as you’d like. You can also dry the roots for a coffee substitute that’s high in fiber.

Plant 12-18 inches apart.

Tip: Keep in containers closer to your home for easy salad cuttings
