Coriandrum sativum - This is one annual herb you just can’t grow enough of! Cilantro, is best known for its fresh leaves used in cooking to add extra flavor to a dish and its seeds are known as Coriander, used as a common cooking spice in Indian and Mediterranean dishes. Buying fresh cilantro from the grocery store gets expensive so it’s much easier to grow your own to have ample supply!

Space plants 6-8 inches apart.

Tip: Cilantro helps support the body's natural detoxification process so we love to add this to salads and to top fresh fish and tacos. The seeds, or coriander, may help lower blood pressure so use them in cooking by adding to soups, curries, or salsas.
