Chives
Allium schoenoprasum - A perennial member of the onion family, Chives add a beautiful bloom to the garden and a sweet, subtle, onion fragrance. This is an excellent companion plant for the garden as they help deter pests. We like to grow two varieties of chives, common chives and garlic chives!
Plant 4-6 inches apart.
Tip: Chives are excellent companion plants to carrots, celery, lettuce, peas, and tomatoes so plant them between your vegetables or add them to your herb pots.
