Anise Hyssop

Agastache foeniculums - Native to North America and a medicinal herb, Anise Hyssop is a favorite of gardeners and pollinators! It stands tall in the garden blooming all summer long with its vibrant floral smell. It provides a long nectar season for pollinators, especially bumblebees, hummingbirds, and butterflies. By leaving the seed heads come fall, the seeds provide food for songbirds such as goldfinches.

Space this plant about 12-16” apart since it likes to get large and bushy.

Tip: Anise hyssop is a great landscape perennial due to its compact habit. Plant 3 plants in a triangle for a bushier appearance.
